Product Information

• Complete the Experiment in 10 Minutes

With the support of a high-speed temperature control system, 40-cycle PCR protocol can be completed in as fast as 8 minutes, thereby enabling rapid acquisition of standard PCR test results without requiring prolonged waiting periods.

• Portable and Pocket-sized Convenience

The individual device measures approximately 1/100 the size of conventional qPCR systems, featuring an ultra-compact and lightweight design optimized for handheld operation. Integrated with a portable power module, it supports field-deployable molecular diagnostics, enabling rapid and reliable testing across diverse environments while maintaining performance parity with benchtop systems.

• Lyophilized Reagents for Instant Reconstitution

Lyophilized reagents are pre-loaded in single-use cartridges, achieving <1-second dissolution post-hydration. Ambient-temperature stability eliminates low-temperature storage requirements and cold chain-free logistics. These ready-to-use consumables enable zero-waste workflows.

• 60-Second Protocol

Integrated lysis buffer and direct amplification reagent system streamline the sample-to-instrument workflow to 60 seconds. No ancillary equipment required – user proficiency can be achieved within 5 minutes of training.

• Scalable 1-16 Throughput Architecture

Modular configurations adapt to testing demands, from individual units (1x instrument) to high-density workstations (16x synchronized modules). At maximum capacity, the system delivers throughput of approximately 96 samples/hour.

Thunderbolt 9 Workflow

1. Swab Sampling

Collect the specimen using a sterile swab

2. Lysis and Nucleic Acid Release

Insert the swab into a reaction tube containing a rapid nucleic acid release reagent, ensuring complete immersion and thorough contact with the lysis solution

3. Reagent Reconstitution and Reaction Mixture Preparation

Transfer the lysate into a reaction tube pre-loaded with a lyophilized reaction system. Direct the reaction mixture into the reaction chamber, and eliminate any entrapped air bubbles

4. Tube Insertion and Reaction Initiation

Place the reaction tube into the device, configure the amplification protocol as required, and click the “Start” to initiate the process
